Transfer case motors are one important part of the wider Orceed automotive range. The motor converts an electrical command into the precise mechanical movement that changes the transfer case operating mode.
When a driver selects 4WD, the control system signals the motor. Internal gearing turns the selector shaft, while position sensing tells the vehicle when the requested range has been reached. Worn gears, failed sensing or moisture intrusion can interrupt that sequence and leave the system unable to engage correctly.
